Necrogore prepare to release Ectoplasmic Rape Phenomena

A slavering, flesh-hungry presence in the death metal underground since 2022, with two EPs of ripping carnage to their name – 2023s Digging From Below and 2024s Ancestral Abhorrence – the time has come for Italian devotees of destruction and decay, Necrogore, to unleash their debut full length album. A cauldron of filth, violence and chaos, inspired by the iconic guitar sound of the old Swedish gods of death, Ectoplasmic Rape Phenomena takes no prisoners and shows no mercy – this is classic death metal at its visceral, gut-churning best; heavy as hell and built to destroy!

After a brief, unnerving intro Necrogore unleash a torrent of sickness and horror, with tracks like ‘Raptured, Tortured And Chained’ and ‘Offered To The Dead’ going straight for the throat. Hammering drums nail you in place as the seething morass of riffs swarms over your body and the venomous vocals tear strips of skin and flesh from your ravaged carcass. ‘Forced To Eat Shit’ is wild, flailing madness while the title track, ‘Ectoplasmic Rape Phenomena’ summons a suffocating atmosphere of fear as twisted, cruel guitars rage above a turgid, swamp-dwelling bass beast. Featuring some jagged, screaming leadwork from guest guitarist Patrick Fernlund of Gorement, ‘Sulphureal Morbid Corpse’ is a real album highlight, beginning like a procession of undead royalty before delivering a pitiless pulverizing. The album concludes with a deft interpretation of Jerry Lambert’s main theme from ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2’, transforming the original into something pustulent and brutal. It’s a powerful and dramatic ending to a vicious, rancorous, genre defining album of devastating death metal.

With cover art created by the renowned artist Paolo Girardi (Revocation, Depravity, The Black Dahlia Murder etc), which perfectly encapsulates its cruel and worm-infested spirit, Ectoplasmic Rape Phenomena will be vomited into the world by Awakening Records on March 20th.
