Three years after the jarring juxtaposition of frivolity and flesh-flaying musical firepower that was their Casablumpkin debut, Canada’s killer clowns of battering brutality have returned – Crème Flesh are back and this time they’re licensed to kill! Armed with ten new tracks of lyrical absurdity and brutal death metal brilliance, the band that were once ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Cervix’ are now primed and ready to deliver the thrilling, delightfully offensive and brain-meltingly heavy For Your Ass Only!
Right from the scorching opening riffs of ‘Field Of Creams’, Crème Flesh make it abundantly clear that while you can laugh at their song titles, the accompanying music is no joke. Songs like ‘Lake Flaccid’ provide the perfect juxtaposition between outrageous humour and deadly serious and accomplished brutality, delivered with perfect precision. ‘The Gapes Of Wrath’ is the epitome of total skull-crushing slam, while ‘MILF of Magnesia’ is a monster of a track – a masterclass in brutal death metal. Tracks like ‘Sleepless On Cialis’ and ‘Whores Of Perception’ are designed for live destruction and seethe with the kind of grooves and aggression that could start a pit in an empty room, while the warped and wicked ‘Jagged Little Penis’ dissects you with its sadistic riffs and takes you to the brink of madness.
