Nemost - Beasts And Bullies video promotion

  • Imperative PR are pleased to announce that we will be working with French melodic death metal band Nemost, to help promote their new promo video for the track ‘Beasts And Bullies’ – taken from their acclaimed album As The Ocean Burns.

The band have made dramatic strides since the release of As The Ocean Burns, touring Europe with Diabolical and Facebreaker, playing a prestigious Paris show with Leprous and receiving an enviable amount of praise from the worldwide metal press. Two Guys Metal Reviews went so far as to declare Nemost “the future of melodeath”; and with the way in which Nemost combine masterful musicianship, punishing heaviness, progressive thinking and all-encompassing atmosphere, who’s to say they’re wrong?

    Further information:

The Nemost story began in 2005, in the suburbs of Paris. Drawn together by a common desire to fuse the power of melodic death metal with a modern, progressive approach the band members worked tirelessly to hone their skills and develop their craft. A self titled, three track demo emerged in 2008 and then the band through all their energies into the creation of their first, full length album. The Shadow’s Trail was self released by the band in 2010, a finely produced and superbly played statement of intent that immediately impressed the waiting metal media.

Metal Impact Magazine declared the album to be “full of interesting ideas and accomplished” while the world renowned Rock Hard Magazine named Nemost their ‘breakthrough band of the month’. In fact, such was the acclaim and positive response to The Shadow’s Trail that Great Dane Records snapped the band up and re-released the album, giving it widespread distribution throughout France, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. The band were also rewarded with numerous equipment endorsements and the stand out track from The Shadow’s Trail, ‘Sardanapale’ gained airplay on MTV.

Despite all the success that they had garnered with The Shadow’s Trail, Nemost were not content to rest on their laurels. They knew that changes had to be made in order for the band to keep progressing. Arnold Petit (Vocals) and Thomas Krajewski (Bass Guitars) were all recruited to join Samuel Eymonym (Guitars) and Thybo Saz'Rain (Drums) before work began on their second album, the game changing As The Ocean Burns.

Initially released in conjunction with Metalian Magazine, As The Ocean Burns was then picked up by Dooweet Records and re-issued with three bonus tracks. The critical response that has followed has been little short of phenomenal...
