The mantle of morality peels back like flayed skin in tattered strips of ravaged decency, empathy and kindness. The concept of consequences is sanded furiously from our bloodied features and the ingrained concepts of heavenly reward and infernal punishment are blasted into oblivion. The sense of self, the subtleties of emotion all fall beside the unquestioning acceptance of authority until only the truth remains; a grinning, wild-eyed beast shriven of artifice, driven by uncontrolled appetites. The circle is complete. We are free, we are pure, we are blazing torches in the silence of the endless night.

From the moment that ‘Mindful Abomination’ kick starts this hellride through self destruction with its intricate, interweaving bass and guitar lines, breathtaking drum patterns and soul-shaking vocal exhortations, you will be hopelessly lost within a twisting vortex of unremitting intensity. Brutal to the point of incomprehension, yet infused with remarkable musicality and technical ability Nemesism displays an adventurous, creative fire that burns with a blistering heat. There is an alluring accessibility that lurks within the tortured structures of songs like ‘Constricting The Ambient Noise’ that draws you from the safety of the path into the violent heart of the music, only to decimate and dismember you once salvation is out of reach. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Ryan Wechta (Cerebral Incubation, Guttural Secrete, Invirulant etc) the Nemesism EP hits with a staggering sonic impact and the haunting artwork created by Bahrull Marta (Asagraum, Centinex, Illdisposed etc) completes the package perfectly. On January 31st a new story will begin in the realms of brutal death metal, one that will carve open the horizons of possibility.
