Back in 2014 musical mastermind Osirion unveiled the first full length album from his atmospheric, neo-classical/ambient solo project –
Dreamfire. Nearly fifteen years in the making, Atlantean Symphony was an exploration of the worlds of myth and legend, a doorway to ancient mysteries; an experience that could transport the willing listener to realms beyond mundane experience. Despite only being released independently, the Dreamfire debut caught the imagination of all those who heard it and inspired rapturous responses from respected magazines like Zero Tolerance and Ondes Chocs.
Creatively drained by the writing and recording experience of creating Atlantean Symphony, Osirion withdrew from the spotlight, back into the shadows and the silence. However, as 2017 drew to a close, Minotauro Records were able to coax the enigmatic composer from his haunted halls once more and the first fruits of this new alliance are now available to all; a new edition of Atlantean Symphony, completely remastered, with stunning new artwork and booklet design and two bonus tracks; a 2018 reworking of the original album’s grandiose finale, ‘An Epitaph Engraved In Water’ and the Dreamfire interpretation of Ramin Djawadi’s ‘The Rains Of Castamere’ – as featured in the HBO series, Game Of Thrones.
